The easiest way for most people to get tax forms is online. The IRS provides a web page specifically for this purpose. You can find the most common tax forms here, including all the versions of Form 1040, which is the individual tax return.

The IRS also links to the instructions for completing these forms. You can also search for forms by name or number. 

Does the Post Office Have Tax Forms?

According to the USPS, post offices do not have tax forms available to customers. However, some other community locations, such as public libraries or government agencies, may have some tax forms you can pick up for free.

Can I Get Tax Forms at Staples?

Staples and other office supply or general stores may offer tax forms in packages you can purchase. Often, these packs are designed for use by companies and include options such as W2 or 1099 forms.

Can I Print Tax Forms Online?

Yes, you can print the tax forms you download for free from the IRS website. You can also print forms from other sites that offer free downloads. If you use an online filing software, you can usually print the forms after you use the software to complete all the information.
