As the fourth-most populated city in the U.S., residents have their choice among dozens and dozens of assisted living homes. Our goal in this Houston assisted living review is to extract the top 10 based on metrics like location, cost, amenities, dining, safety and access to care.

While there are many quality assisted living facilities from which to choose, we did our best to highlight some of the best below in our list of the top 10 assisted living communities in Houston (in no particular order).

A community center, gym, activity room and game room set the scene for a robust social calendar. Three chef-prepared meals are delivered daily and a private dining room is available for residents and their guests.

Pets are welcome at this facility and benefit from a large network of walking paths. Studio, one- and two-bedroom living quarters are available.

Copperfield Estates does not supply its own personal caregivers. Instead, those in need of assisted living hire their own caregivers. This model allows more freedom of choice to residents in finding a caregiver that is perfect for their individual needs.
