The Windy City actually boasts a large number of high-quality assisted living homes with an average cost that is on par with the national average. 

Being such a large city, there are a lot of options to sort through as it relates to assisted living homes. But we combed through them all to weigh everything from amenities and food services to location, cost and more. It should be noted that we only included assisted living homes with a Chicago address on this list and did not include any located in the surrounding suburbs.
